WIDEC Welcomes You!

WIDEC realizes that statewide awareness and involvement go hand in hand. With a multi-discipliary team approach and community involvement, we can send the message that Wisconsin children do not deserve the neglect, physical, emotional or sexual abuse brought on by drug environments.

WIDEC defines 'Drug Endangered Child' as:

Any child, born or unborn,* at risk of neglect, or sexual or physical abuse, or emotional abuse, or mental harm by the parent's or caregiver's use, distribution or manufacture of any controlled substance or the parent's or caregiver's failure to protect the child from the exposure to the use, distribution or manufacture of any controlled substance.

*(As defined by Wisconsin Statute 940 and Chapter 48)
